Project by Philippe Daverio; curated by Emma Zanella, Vittoria Broggini and Alessandro Castiglioni 10.13.24 – 03.02.2025. A major exhibition dedicated to the dialogue between visual arts and design that characterized the years between the post-war period and the end of the last century. an adventure of tireless innovation and experimentation, in constant dialogue with the visual arts, a visionary and ambitious review that intertwines artistic production, the design object and dialogues, from an aesthetic and ethical perspective, with the artistic making of modernity.
The two Box chairs designed by Enzo Mari, one produced by Anonima Castelli and the other by Aleph Driade, owned by the Museo Della Sedia, were lent for the exhibition event.

PASOLINI 100: The Cineteca di Bologna for the centenary of the birth of PPP
The Cineteca di Bologna, for decades one of the fundamental centers in the world where Pasolini is studied, renews towards PPP, on the centenary of his birth, as part of the initiatives that the Municipality of Bologna will promote for this important anniversary: Pier Paolo Pasolini. Figurative electrocutions, this is the title of the exhibition that will open in Bologna on March 1st, in the new exhibition spaces of the Underpass in Piazza Re Enzo.

Year 2021, the new graphic design of the “Museo Della Sedia” website, in this updated version 2021, aims to allow access to an increasingly large audience through this global means of communication. By simplifying navigation with new search parameters and a renewed design, we think we have provided an additional service to our site visitors. The difficult, but fundamental work of cataloging and archiving the products presented in Collections now allows five ways of exploration:
for the latest sessions cataloged (News section);
by chronological order (Years section);
by type of session (Categories section);
by designer (Designer section);
for quick selection (Search section).
The new Gallery page is a constantly evolving window, designed to offer unexpected and unpredictable images. The Contacts page allows an active interaction between the Museum and the visitor interested in receiving information regarding the products viewed or in their possession. Another important interface with the visitor is the banner “Would you like to leave a comment?” placed at the end of each article, through which it is possible to send information, suggestions or corrections. We also have an English version of the site in anticipation.
