Architects and Designers have shaped the concept of seating in an infinite variety of shapes, materials and models, giving us undisputed jewels that have become an emblem of modernity and symbols of cultural change over time. The idea of seating is linked to multiple categories (chairs, armchairs and stools) and respective types: office, cinema, barber chairs… In the section there are also rare prototypes that reveal the original idea of the artist before materialize in industrial production. With the “Unknown” category, a space has been created dedicated to seats not yet attributed to a specific designer or manufacturer.
