Latonda armchair produced by Alias, designed by Mario Botta in 1987. Structure and back in gray lacquered iron rod, seat in black leather.

This chair is the synthesis of those designed previously. The bent steel tube curves through the space. The two inclined circles have a break in the center for the leather seat. It is balanced on the two tubular elements which form the end sections of the continuous tube. The scarcity of this chair/armchair comes entirely from a reduction of various elements. All that is left is a single geometric pattern that moves through the space.
