
Model 231 Club Chair armchair (also known as LC2) produced by Alivar in 1980 design Le Corbusier 1928. Structure in light blue lacquered steel tube, cushions covered in brown fabric.
Armchair in excellent vintage condition, the cushions are original but have been colored with a vintage effect, originally they were butter-colored.

Le Corbusier argued that proportions in architecture and design had to be based on the proportions of the human body. The small version of the Grand Confort series was the “armchair for the man” as generally the man sits, maintaining a more upright position of the torso, with the legs apart.
