A statue disguised as a chair. A beautifully elegant seat with outstretched arms to be used as a surface for attaching small objects.
Schwan Lloyd was the first American designer since the 1960s to raise his name to the highest level in the New York design world. Famous for his exuberant use of colors, when it was not just a trend, he introduced his fun and functional objects to Milan for the first time, paving the way for the emergence of large American design furniture available to the public. With his work, high-end objects leave the art galleries and limited editions to become accessible to ordinary people.
